About
the "Women" Collection

It All Began with An Idea: Talking about us!

In our first collection, the idea was to talk about “our own colors” inside, as two women founders, about the women within us & around us. With each artist, we focus on different aspects of women.

What makes us so excited are the individuality and originality put in the designs. After several sketches and exchange of words, the artists, with their own authentic voices turn the idea into living and breathing works of art.

Pay close attention to the small beautiful details, in this collection individual stories unite under the figures of Moon and Sun!

Follow our Creative Journey through the minds of our artists!

About
the Design

Illustration started off with the idea of good old sisterhood in mind (it exists from the ancient times, let's be clear on that). It is something we appreciate every day, when we have the good, the bad and the normal. An entity that gives you the reassurance that everything might change, but ‘I am here and you are there’, so things gonna be okay.

The visual expression of sisterhood must have been as descriptive as possible and certainly pleasing to the eye. The choice of the circus theme was not only due to our admiration for one of her old designs, but also due to the fact that it is one of the best metaphors out there for a relationship between two pals. Like an excellent performance in a circus, one needs the company of another to find the balance. It is fun but also certainly delicate, and in order to perform as a whole, you make a great effort.

About
the Artist

Look closely at Tell Me About Your Day Sister pattern, it is an artwork by Anna Grimal, an illustrator from Costa Brava. She says the environment inspires her to create dreamy and delicate illustrations.

Getting to know her colorful world and extremely cheerful details on her illustrations, we had to get in contact for a collaboration. We were excited to hear that she very much enjoys illustrating for textile products.
