It All Began with An Idea: Talking about us!
In our first collection, the idea was to talk about “our own colors” inside, as two women founders, about the women within us & around us. With each artist, we focus on different aspects of women.
What makes us so excited are the individuality and originality put in the designs. After several sketches and exchange of words, the artists, with their own authentic voices turn the idea into living and breathing works of art.
Pay close attention to the small beautiful details, in this collection individual stories unite under the figures of Moon and Sun!

About
the Design
While working on this pattern with lovely Constanza Goeppinger, we wanted to focus on the theme ‘inner peace & balance’. Finding inner peace is all about finding ourselves they say, through the good habits we build. What we want or need physically, emotionally or mentally to have the peace of mind in this crazy modern world, struggle is real here!
The name ‘Just Like the Ocean Waves’ suits this peaceful, gorgeous print perfectly for few reasons. The most obvious reason is of course, the role ocean sound plays in our lives lately. One way or another everyone comes across with it while ‘trying’ to practice meditation, mindfulness.
Yet, we like to think that there are similarities between us and the ocean, our spirits are wild and calm. The way ocean waves rise up and go down, our thoughts and feelings come and go, and somehow we manage to find the peace.
We love oceans very much; the sandy walks, fresh scent and calming sound have a magical impact on us. They bring joy and deep peace to our souls, just the way this pattern does to us.
Let’s put aside all the pressure, demands and responsibilities in ourselves. Maybe we cannot meditate 16 hours a day, but we have to learn treating ourselves with loving kindness and balancing our lifestyle so that we can enjoy the inner peace we all deserve!

the Artist
The artist behind our “Just Like the Ocean Waves” print is the very talented Constanza Goeppinger, an illustrator and graphic designer from Chile, living in Australia.
As an artist, she loves drawing women and especially playing with colours and patterns. She says that’s the part where she can freely express her creativity. Her main inspiration comes from editorial fashion photography. You can easily see that on the beautiful details of her women figures and the gorgeous interior design drawings. In addition, she also gets inspired by nature and surroundings.
When we first came across with her artworks we just fell in love with the color pallette she uses, the unique details and of course the women figures that just give us happy feelings.
